Project Safety Manager

Maintaining safe and healthy worksite conditions is paramount at Nelson Pipeline Constructors. Project Safety Manager Kyle R. King works closely with our field crews and other staff members to ensure everyone is respecting and adhering to our firm’s strict safety, health and environmental policies. Thanks to our safety driven work culture and our commitment to developing and meeting the strictest standards, we strive to provide healthy and productive construction environments for all involved.

Kyle manages the daily safety operations of Nelson Pipeline Constructors to ensure each and every employee, client and members of the general public are exposed to safe worksites that comply fully with all applicable regulatory requirements and project-specific requirements set forth by each client.

He has successfully instilled a safety driven work culture and communicates the firm’s commitment to developing and meeting the strictest safety standards in an effort to achieve healthy and productive construction environments. Kyle works closely with the project management team to engineer and execute safe excavation plans for each project that are compliant with OSHA requirements and guidelines. He also conducts on-site safety meetings, develops and maintains the firm’s competent person programs and trains employees to understand and identify all of the safety aspects of each jobsite. Additionally, Kyle investigates all accidents and violations in order to prevent additional accidents.

Kyle studied marketing at Colorado Mesa University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Westwood College. Kyle is certified in OSHA 10-hour training, OSHA 30-Hour training, OSHA 6-Hour trenching and excavation training, First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
